About this work

Bird of Pray Ring in 925 Sterling Silver

Limited Edition: 3,333 Individually Numbered Pieces

25K Private Campaign: 25 private campaign allocations are available. The first paid checkout wins each allocation. This offer will not be restocked. Public catalog prices remain unchanged; private links are issued directly by HAFT.

A sculptural ring born from Harrison Haft’s oil painting Halcyon, a ten-winged osprey captured between motion and stillness.

Designed in New York, then individually cast, finished, and hand-polished.

  • Choose your exact edition number (0001/3333–3332/3333) engraved on the interior of the band
Once a number is claimed, it is permanently gone. Edition 0000/3333 is the artist’s proof, permanently reserved by the artist, and is not for sale.
  • Two finishes:
    Mirror Polish: radiant, light-catching brilliance
Antique Patina: deepened shadows, like an unearthed relic

Designed in New York, each piece is cast in solid, luxuriously weighted sterling silver and hand-finished, making every ring unique.

Ten wings arc around the finger, not frozen, but layered in time.

Like a multiple exposure, each wing captures a different instant: past, present, and future collapsing into one form.

The name Halcyon comes from ancient legend,  a sacred bird said to still the sea, creating a moment of calm within chaos.

This ring carries that same tension: movement slowed. stillness revealed. time held.

Materials & finishes

Sterling silver — solid 925, individually cast and hand-finished in mirror polish or antiqued relief. Edition of 3,333.

18K gold-plated brass — a warm, gallery-bright finish over sculpted brass. Edition of 7,777.

Nickel-plated brass — a cool silver tone that deepens with wear, developing a patina unique to its collector. Edition of 7,777.

Every piece is designed and finished in New York using the traditional lost-wax process, then engraved with your edition number.

Production, shipping & duties

Each piece is made to order. Allow approximately 4–8 weeks for casting, finishing and numbering before dispatch. You receive tracking the moment it ships, and every parcel is insured.

Shipping rates and destinations are shown at checkout before you pay. Outside the United States, import duties and taxes are the collector's responsibility unless checkout states otherwise.

Returns & guarantee

Because every piece is sized, finished and engraved with your number, it becomes final sale once production begins. Damaged, defective or incorrect orders are always protected: contact the studio within seven days of delivery with your order number and photos and we will make it right.

How edition numbers work

Choose any open number before adding to cart — a birthday, a lucky number, or let us pick one. It travels with your order and is engraved on the piece. Once payment is confirmed the number is permanently retired. In the rare case it was claimed moments earlier, the studio will contact you with the nearest open number. Edition 0000 is the artist's proof and is never sold.

From canvas to metal

Born from the painting Halcyon

Halcyon is a ten-winged osprey held between motion and stillness — past, present and future collapsed into a single form. Harrison Haft translated its repeated wings into rings, pendants and a monumental buckle: not accessories, but limited works of art designed to move through the world with their collector.
