About this work

A monumental wearable sculpture derived from Harrison Haft’s oil painting Halcyon—a ten-winged osprey held between motion and stillness.

Choose nickel-plated brass for a cool silver tone or genuine 18K gold-plated brass for a warmer finish. Each piece is individually finished, so subtle variations are part of the object.

  • Dimensions: approximately 4 in W × 4 in H × 1.25 in D
  • Weight: approximately 180 g
  • Limited edition: 7,777 individually numbered customer pieces
  • Designed and finished in New York; bulk cast overseas
  • Made to order; allow approximately 4–8 weeks for production before dispatch

Compatibility: Because belt systems vary, compare the dimensions with your intended belt and contact the studio before ordering if you need attachment guidance.

Care: Keep dry and away from fragrance, chemicals, and abrasives. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Plated finishes naturally evolve with wear.

Material note: The silver-tone option is nickel-plated brass and may not be suitable for people with nickel sensitivity.

Your reserved edition number is attached to this piece before checkout and permanently retired when your paid order is confirmed. Once production begins, custom-finished and numbered pieces are final sale; damaged or incorrect orders remain protected.

Materials & finishes

Sterling silver — solid 925, individually cast and hand-finished in mirror polish or antiqued relief. Edition of 3,333.

18K gold-plated brass — a warm, gallery-bright finish over sculpted brass. Edition of 7,777.

Nickel-plated brass — a cool silver tone that deepens with wear, developing a patina unique to its collector. Edition of 7,777.

Every piece is designed and finished in New York using the traditional lost-wax process, then engraved with your edition number.

Production, shipping & duties

Each piece is made to order. Allow approximately 4–8 weeks for casting, finishing and numbering before dispatch. You receive tracking the moment it ships, and every parcel is insured.

Shipping rates and destinations are shown at checkout before you pay. Outside the United States, import duties and taxes are the collector's responsibility unless checkout states otherwise.

Returns & guarantee

Because every piece is sized, finished and engraved with your number, it becomes final sale once production begins. Damaged, defective or incorrect orders are always protected: contact the studio within seven days of delivery with your order number and photos and we will make it right.

How edition numbers work

Choose any open number before adding to cart — a birthday, a lucky number, or let us pick one. It travels with your order and is engraved on the piece. Once payment is confirmed the number is permanently retired. In the rare case it was claimed moments earlier, the studio will contact you with the nearest open number. Edition 0000 is the artist's proof and is never sold.

From canvas to metal

Born from the painting Halcyon

Halcyon is a ten-winged osprey held between motion and stillness — past, present and future collapsed into a single form. Harrison Haft translated its repeated wings into rings, pendants and a monumental buckle: not accessories, but limited works of art designed to move through the world with their collector.
